TheraCare provides the following services:
Individuals who have disabilities and chronic health conditions need to make sure that their health is properly managed. With the help of skilled nurses, not only will they be given health monitoring, but they will also be supported in various forms of medication administration.
Occupational therapy is helpful for individuals who have just been released from hospitals or those that are living with a health condition. With this service, clients will be provided with helpful assistance in relearning daily living activities and re-adapting to their home environments.
For those who are recovering from injuries and other disabilities, physical therapy can help them regain their mobility. During sessions, they will be guided by a professional as they perform customized exercises that will strengthen the affected bones or muscles.
Due to certain health conditions, like stroke, a lot of individuals have impairments in their ability to communicate. However, it is important for them to express their thoughts and feelings so their health providers and family members can give them the assistance that they need. With the help of a Speech therapist, they will be provided with techniques on how to comprehend and produce sounds and words. These professionals can also address difficulties in swallowing liquids and food.
Home Health Aide/CNA
Home health aides and CNA’s are professionals who can provide their clients with basic health care at home. Among the services that they can provide are medication management and reminders, wound care, meal planning and preparation, and exercise support, among others.
Home Health Care (NC only)
Our RN will assess your needs in your home. TheraCare will coordinate with your medical team if you need Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy.
Private Duty Nursing (NC only)
For clients who are technology-dependent, LPNs provide Private Duty Nursing. For example, this service covers patients who require prolonged intravenous nutrition or drug therapy; patients who are ventilator dependent and patients dependent on other device-based respiratory support, including tracheostomy care and tracheal suctioning.
Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, CNAs and in-home aides provide patients with personal care and assisted daily living (ADLs) necessities. We are well experienced in the care of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s patients.
This program gives those who are disabled an alternative to nursing home placement. The client can receive medical and personal care services.
